AS Tallink Grupp announced, that due to construction delays of the company’s new vessel M/S Star will start operating on the Helsinki-Tallinn route a week later than originally planned.
M/S Star will start operating on the Helsinki-Tallinn route from 12th
of April. To cover passenger demand on the Helsinki-Tallinn route before M/S
Star arrives, Tallink will reroute M/S Superfast VIII onto the Helsinki-Tallinn
route in addition to M/S Galaxy and M/S Vana-Tallinn.
The temporary schedule for the period from the 5th -12th of April for
Tallinn-Helsinki route is now being confirmed by the ports and will be published
on the company’s web site www.tallink.ee as
soon as the new schedule is approved. With the addition of Superfast VIII, some
of the departure times of other vessels may change slightly. M/S Galaxy will
continue its regular schedule, whereby the schedules of M/S Vana Tallinn and M/S
Superfast VIII will replace M/S Star planned departures as closely as
possible.
