Eurovision and Reval HG
21/05/2003 09:00

Eurovision this Week and tourism in Baltics has good times.

In the Baltic hotel business the letter “R” does not necessarily stand for Radisson or Ramada, the largest chain by the number of hotel rooms happens to be Reval.

Reval Hotel Group was started by the enterprising hoteliers in Tallinn in 1997 on the basis of activities dating back to the Olympic Regatta held in 1980 in Tallinn.

Now that Reval opened its own hotel in Vilnius as well, they are fully respresented in all Baltic countires. Reval Hotels currently operates four hotels in Tallinn (Reval Hotel Olümpia, Reval Park Hotel & Casino, Reval Hotel Central and Reval ExpressHotel), two hotels in Riga (Reval Hotel Latvija and Park Hotel Ridzene) and now one in Vilnius (Reval Hotel Lietuva).

At the moment Reval has 26% of the hotel market in Tallinn and 21% in Riga.

And of course - A Magical Rendez-vous of The Eurovision Song Contest 2003 in Riga
The Eurovision Song Contest 2003 presents A Magical Rendez-vous on 25.05 in Riga at the Skonto Olympic Hall seating 6000. Last year 160 million watched the event by TV.

What next ? Go east …
